The Frank Sinatra School of the Arts Jazz Ensemble will present our annual Jazz Appreciation Month Concert on Friday, April 26, 2013; 7:00 p.m. featuring Jazz Trumpet Virtuoso Marvin Stamm.  The ensemble will perform music by contemporary living composers and arrangers including  works by Maria Schneider, Doc Severinson, John Fedchock, Phil Wilson, Michael Philip Mossman and Pat Metheny, as well as our tradition of playing the music of Thad Jones.

The Frank Sinatra School of the Arts Jazz Ensemble, directed by Bill Stevens, returns for our seventh year of performing at the Jazz Standard as part of their Jazz for Kids program led by master guitarist David O'Rourke.  The band will play music by living composers and arrangers including Maria Schneider & Michael Philip Mossmann and as is our tradition, we will also continue to perform the music of Thad Jones. This performance will lead into our Jazz Appreciation Month Concert in the Tony Bennett Concert Hall on Friday, April 26 featuring Jazz Trumpet Virtuoso, Marvin Stamm.  Hope to see you at the show.
